ANT CRAB HAS SUCK SNAP GLEE OF NASSERWOE SHUCKSMITHS

SAUCE

Det Sgt. Bertram John Igo was fined £50 by the Colchester Magis-
trates Court the other Monday (June 21st).

Det. Sgt. Bertram John Igo belonged to the Colchester Drug
Squad and as part of his duties found himself entering the ho*ruc of
Ricahrd Searle with a warrant issued under the Dangerous Drugs Act,
where he found substances that later proved to be neither drugs nor
dangerous.

Det. Sgt. Bertram John Igo
could not be expected to know any
better, so he took Richard Searle
to Colchester Police Station.

Dct. Sgt. Bertiam John Igo found
that belonging to the Drug Squad
caused him to work long hours, caused
him to be abused by the people that
he searched, it made him tired and
didn't improve his temper.

Det. Sgt. Bertrcm 'John Igo,
being tired and overworked, there-
fore took Ricahrd Se?.r!c into the
Matron^ room of Colches.tcr Police
Station and beat him until he was
unconscious, causing severe damage
to a duodenal ulcer m Richard
Searle's stomach.

Det. Sgt. Bertram John Igo
was charged with assault, found

guilty, fined £50 and now faces dis-
missal from the Police Force. It is
lucky for Det. Sgt. Igo that he only
assaulted someone. If he had been
in possession of four amphetamine
tablets he might have gone to jail.

PETER BROOK — WHAT ARE
YOU DOING?

Peter Brook is filming US around
London now and it is beginning to
look like a big containment scene
for hippies. In filming at UFO, they
turned their music off the instant
they were through shooting and
didn't even let the number finish.
They didn't give a damn about the
audience. Later they brought actors
in the back door of UFU dressed
as police and tried to create a panic
scene for their hungry uncaring
cameras. The scene didn't really
come off, but someone did get hurt
in the process so it wasn't really
wasted. Fuck you Peter Brook and
damn your hungry eyes.

Gavin Miller's BBC lot are pretty
much the same only uglier crew
members and less taste.

The Governor of New Jersey has
stated that the recent race riots in
Newark were "the most un-
American thing I ever heard of".—
A bizarre statement when one con-
siders that probably 99% of the
participants were American citizens
and that such metropolitan riots
are almost unknown outside the
United States.

Five groups, included Shiva's Chil-

Social Deviants, are getting together to
form a non-profit making management
co-operative to circumven t a great
deal of the exploitation that is appear-
ing on the underground pop scene.
Alan Reid of Shiva's Children told
I.T. that " It was time that at least
one management organisation con-
centrated on helping groups to be
creative, rather than filling its own
pockets. Too many small time hustlers
think they can make a great deal of
breal out of the good music that the
scene has helped to create." Any fairly
